Born in March of 1994, Karan has gained experience during and after graduating North Babylon High School in 2012. He was an Ujima intern in 2011 at the Town of Babylon Town Supervisor’s office. After graduating from North Babylon High School, Karan attended SUNY College at Old Westbury where he received a BS in Biology and Psychology in May 2017. During his time in college, Karan researched the molecular signaling patterns of proteins involved with prostate cancer as well as studied how epigenetic modifications influenced the prognosis of different types of cancers. In May 2018, Karan graduated from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine with a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in Biological and Physical Sciences. Currently he is preparing to begin medical school at Touro in August 2018.
